Reach Your Goals
Through Authentic Partnership
You’re successful. Your approach to leadership has dynamically evolved. But your ability to impact - and to be fulfilled - is so much more. I work with clients who want to get there and go beyond.
I help clients distil their leadership and define it in practice - from building incredible cultures to navigating pressurised situations when the shit could really hit the fan.

How Coaching Helps
In contrast to advice-giving, coaching activates our thinking. Coaching pulls on the narrative that directs today’s actions so that we can examine our thinking in a way that we cannot do on our own. Coaching illuminates old beliefs that no longer serve us, considers the truth of doubts and fears, discovers gaps in logic, identifies unmet needs, and recognises conflicts of values that keep us stuck.
Coaching distils new ways to approach problems; enabling clients to confidently act on insights, even during times of uncertainty or risk.
Coaching moves us through the discomfort of learning - we don’t like the uncertainty and doubt that come with not knowing the answers, and so otherwise will revert to familiar actions rooted in past experiences. To see new ways of thinking, we need someone else who can summarise our thoughts and ask the questions we would avoid asking of ourselves. Coaching enables us to disrupt automatic processing, illuminate and examine our assumptions, and radically evaluate best next courses of action.

If you want a genuine partnership, value candidness, and are comfortable sometimes being uncomfortable - knowing you’re working with someone as invested in your success as you are - yes.
I work well with leaders who want to lead as themselves, and enjoy stretching themselves. I'm not the right coach for you if you prefer someone to solely listen and remain detached from your success.
I offer a complimentary Discovery Call before all Coaching Engagements to find out if we’re a good fit.
-
I partner with clients to define and achieve their goals; all are unique to each person and context. Some are longer term, others are in the moment resulting from current or anticipated situations.
Areas I often work with clients on are:
Organisational complexity
Leadership isolation
Team friction
Competing priorities
Confidence
Cultural disconnect
Constant firefighting
Unrealised potential
Strategic drift
Unclear direction
Role transition
Resistance to change
Fear of failure
Overwhelming pressure
Difficult relationships
Decision clarity
Executive presence
Presentations and keynotes
People and board dynamics.
-
The right fit is the most important factor. This is one reason why I offer a Complimentary Discovery Call. For executive and leadership coaching, I’d suggest someone who has been in a C-suite or senior role and experienced with board-level accountability.
Having a coaching credential from an internationally recognised professional body, such as the ICF or EMCC, demonstrates expertise through coaching-specific qualifications comprising education alongside numbers of hours working with clients. I have a masters in Executive Coaching and Organisational Consulting and am credentialed with the ICF at PCC level.

McGovern et al’s (2001) research found the ROI of executive coaching to be 5.7x the value of organisational investment.
Personally, I have found coaching to have the biggest impact on my leadership. Coaching works; with the right coach and if you’re ready to put in the work. Read more on the ROI of Coaching here.

I coach the whole person. Leadership identity is personal as well as professional; they are not two entirely separate spheres of life.
Every session’s topic is what is most helpful and important to you at that time.
Eric Schmidt, former Google CEO on Why Everyone Needs a Coach.
‘Fay understands, having been CEO, the pressures, politics, isolation and complexity that comes with the role. She is so invested in supporting my success.’
My approach is centred on the individual and contextual uniqueness of every client. I blend coaching with consultancy, integrating a variety of frameworks to enable you to reach your goals.
Sessions can identify patterns, explore values, beliefs, or behaviours. Or can centre on pulling apart and recreating strategy. Great coaching happens inside work as well as alongside it.
Coaching + Consultancy
Lasting Change.
Possible Selves & Narrative Identity
You Hold the Pen
Professionally and personally, you are the author of your own identity. Understanding the gaps between who we are now, who we aspire to be, and who we quietly fear becoming enables authentic, values-driven leadership.
Similarly, Narrative Identity offers tools to examine the stories governing our leadership and to deliberately author new ones, rather than inherit the next chapters by default.
The combination of these frameworks comprise a foundation for insight that results in lasting change.
The Enneagram
A Unique Development Compass
The Enneagram illuminates our unconscious motivations and root influences - it explains why we behave in the way that we do.
By understanding of the reasons underpinning our decisions, strengths, weaknesses and potential, we can and map how to leverage these to our advantage.
Unlike other frameworks, the Enneagram explains how we relate to each other - giving insights that improve relationship dynamics and team cohesion.
Applied Psychology
Individuation
Individuation is the process of being who you genuinely are; more than the person that circumstances demand and reward, the fully integrated person excelling professionally and personally.
Through understanding the patterns, contradictions, and complexities of our decisions, actions and interactions - rather than solely focusing on strengths - lasting change is enabled.
People + Systems
The Architecture of People Dynamics
Leadership has never been a solo act. The Māori principle of whānau - those who share purpose and journey together - underpins my approach about leadership systems.
All leaders exist within an architecture of relationships, structures, and cultures that both influence and are influenced.
The highest performing cultures are created and sustained by consistent, congruent leaders who inspire collaborative innovation.
